Seewald lake

The walk to the Seewald lake takes about 35 minutes from Fontanella/Säge, and is worthwhile at any time of year and whatever the weather. An easy walk takes you through unspoilt countryside to the little lake, set like a jewel in the surrounding meadows. Since the water feeding the lake is not much more than a trickle, it boasts unusually warm temperatures for its altitude (1200 m), and is thus ideal for bathing, even on rainy days.

With such a fabulous setting, the lake is very hard to leave!
